After Massage Therapy people feel a combination of things ranging from relaxed, invigorated, de-stressed, peaceful… the list goes on and on.

There are some important things you should do for yourself after receiving bodywork:

 

♥ Drink Plenty Water Massage Therapy flushes the body of excess toxins and lactic acid.  The best thing to help flush is drinking lots of water.

 

♥ Take a Warm Epsom Salt Bath a warm bath helps to relieve sore m aching muscles.  The bathe should be warm, not hot, and last about 15-20 minutes.

 

♥ Get a Good Night’s Sleep This will help your body to repair and rejuvenate.

 

♥ Make a Commitment Be good to yourself.  Exercise, eat right, stretch, relax, read, and meditate… anything that you love to do that helps you feel good.  Schedule yourself some “YOU” time.

 

♥ Schedule with your Massage Therapist- Imbalances in the body take years to occur and may take as long to correct.  To see long lasting results, schedule time with your therapist on a frequent basis.  Your therapist is key in correcting imbalances and helping you feel great!
